Developing ‘Brand You’ and getting to grips with the new LinkedIn interface
DATE: Friday 24th February 2017
TIME: 7.30am for 8.00am
VENUE: 29, 29 Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow
It was last March that we last covered LinkedIn and since then much has changed.
LinkedIn rolled out a completely new interface towards the end of the year, and they announced they have a new owner – Microsoft.
The new interface has been generally well received, but there are some functions that have changed or disappeared completely, likewise there are some new functions that generally make the whole experience much better for users.
However, the changes since March are not just on the LinkedIn platform, the world has changed and, believe it or not, global developments will impact you and your business.
‘Fake News’, as it’s now being interpreted, has reinforced the need for a strong personal brand with genuine transparency and the ability to build strong personal relationships built on trust. LinkedIn is fast becoming the de facto platform with which to project who you are and what you stand for, are you using it to its full potential?
At the February New Media Breakfast, we will be exploring the new LinkedIn interface and highlighting some of the new features and functionality. We will also be looking at some of the ways that you can leverage the power of LinkedIn to your advantage.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Anyone with a LinkedIn account should come along, there is much that you will learn about optimising your presence and drawing relevant people to you.

The breakfast session will be presented by Gordon White and perhaps other members of the fatBuzz team. You can view Gordon’s profile here.
