Even though Email Marketing has been around for many years, it is still one of the most effective marketing techniques today. In fact, for many organisations, it is the primary driver of sales and website traffic.
The February New Media Breakfast will take a look at Email Marketing and how you can make the most of your database. Indeed, we will also look at how to build a relevant database and how a good quality database can be used to achieve your goals and to drive sales for your business.
We will also explore ways to fine-tune your HTML Emails and make sure they are optimised to get the best possible return. For example, what you can do to increase open rates and techniques to improve click-through rates. Also, we’ll share ideas on how to keep people subscribed and interested in the information that you send them.
Of course, there are many other considerations with Email Marketing like, do you have a coherent strategy? How often should you send emails? How much information should you include, and do you have adequate ‘calls to action’? We will look at all of these questions during the session.
We will also explore what you should consider when selecting an Email Marketing platform and choosing the right template or creating the right design. We will look at segmented lists and why splitting your database can ultimately be beneficial to your marketing efforts.
We will also investigate if there is an optimum time to send your emails, and once you’ve hit the send button and your campaign is on its way, what can you then learn from reviewing the analytics?
