Learn from the good, the bad, and the ugly.
DATE: Friday 27th November 2015
TIME: 7.30am for 8.00am
VENUE: 29 Member’s Club, Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow
Every year we take a look at some of the events that have taken place in the world of marketing and digital media in the past year. It is always a popular New Media Breakfast where we have some fun and learn from the campaigns, tools and changes that have occurred throughout the year.
We will look at key changes and new tools in marketing and digital media throughout the year and explore whether they can be used to any great benefit within your business.
We will also explore some of the campaigns that have been released over the last 12 months – the good, the bad, and the ugly. Obviously there are things we can learn from the successful campaigns, however we think you can learn just as much from the ones that failed, they will at least help you to avoid similar mistakes. But, often campaigns fail for the smallest reason, and if we can identify why they didn’t work, perhaps you can adapt the idea to make it work for you in the future.
Then there are the ones that are just plain ugly, the ones that were ill-conceived or badly executed, these are equally worth looking at to help you understand what went wrong, and how to avoid similar mistakes as you enter your 2016 marketing year.
It is also the final New Media Breakfast of the year, so come along and network with your New Media Breakfast colleagues for the last time in 2015, we are sure you will find it enjoyable and worth while.
SPEAKER
The breakfast session will be presented by Gordon White and perhaps other members of the fatBuzz team. You can view Gordon’s profile here.
